WINTER BASKETBALL LEAGUE FOR 6-8 YEAR OLDS AND 9-13 YEAR OLDS
Kindergarten and 1st Grade Division League
The goal of this beginner’s league is to develop and educate these players who are new to the game. Our Kindergarten and 1st Grade 3v3 League will give students the opportunity for live game action with their peers. We will emphasize the development of the students understanding of the rules and structure of a basketball game.
This league lasts 5-6 weeks and happens multiple times throughout the year. We also include 3 free training sessions with the registration fee.
Teams are formed in a draft like format.
2nd and 3rd Grade Division League
This league is designed to be a continuation program from our beginner’s league. Players can participate in this league due to grade level or for more practice for live game situations and experience. Coaches will emphasize proper dribbling and ensuring that we correct players in common basketball violations at this age.
Our goal for this division will be centered on the development and improvement of every player at any skill level and to ensure that players grasp the fundamentals to build on as they continue their basketball journey.
4th and 5th Grade Division League
(Beginner and Intermediate/Advanced Level Divisions)
This league is designed to be a continuation program from our 2nd and 3rd Grade League. Students can participate in this league due to age or for exploration into challenging themselves in a higher division. Teams are formed in a draft like format to ensure fair yet competitive games.
If your player does not have any play experience or minimal play experience, we do recommend purchasing extra training sessions to help your player develop and learn more through group training.
